    History GHI

Scholars have always had a love affair with the German Historical Institute (GHI) which seeks to drill deeper into the annals of history. Among them, the Medieval History Seminar is one of the most successful: a biennial event that brings together young historians from all over the world who can discuss meaningful topics of the Middle Ages.

Why are students able to benefit from the GHI Medieval History Seminar? First of all, it is inclusive and embraces people of various opinions and views of the same. Although the name of the association would suggest that its work is mainly in connection with German history or German-speaking countries the organization is open to anyone.

In return, the seminar affords scholars so selected, an extended culture of mutuality, and scholarship. Speakers and discussions are held in German and English to provide the audience of historians from all over the world with comprehensible information. Not only do participants provide an extensive, coupled with a paper of approximately twenty pages, but the participants also serve as commentators to the work of others. This mutual transfer promotes analysis and understanding or accepting divergent views of life.

The Medieval History Seminar exemplifies GHI’s mission: to generate spaces for robust, lively conversations among historians from across the historical spectrum. But primarily, such projects not only expand the horizons of knowledge about the Middle Ages but also create a common platform for international cooperation uniting GHI and numerous scholars from different continents and different schools of thought. Therefore, are you prepared for your input and this vision?

How Much Does GHI Cover For Mental Health Treatment?

The cost of mental health treatment may not be fixed but GHI (Group Health Incorporated) is committed to making the therapy affordable for its members. With this knowledge of how much is covered by GHI and other alternatives available then you will be ready to face your mental health challenge:

    • In-network coverage. More so, for visits with in-network therapists or preferred providers, GHI members contributing to therapy sessions bear costs that comprise a copayment of between $15-$65 per session. The fact that the charge can be expected to be flat makes the cost estimation for therapy more manageable.
    • Out-of-network coverage. For sessions with an out-of-network psychiatrist or psychologist, GHI provides grading coinsurance that floats between 20% to 50% per session. It needs to be explained that $150 for a session with a therapist and 20% coinsurance means $30 for a session. If your therapist takes $200 per session and your coinsurance rate is 50%, you will be charged $100 per session.

That is, an increase in session cost is directly translated to an increase in the client’s outlay.
